Twinkletoes was established in 2001 in Ajax Ontario.  We grew quickly and became a school known for providing quality dance training in a loving family environment.
Our second location in Cobourg Ontario was opened in summer 2011 after noticing the need for a dance school that offered top notch training in a professional and organized way.  When our doors opened we were completly blown away at the immedate response by the community.  We were welcomed with open arms and felt very greateful for the new students that joined the Twinkletoes Family.
As the  studio owner Haylie James and the rest of the James family settled into living in Northumberland County, they decide to sell the Ajax location in 2014 to be able to concentrate on offering amazing programing right here in Cobourg but also maximize their family time by removing the daily travel back and forth to Ajax.
Twinkletoes is family owned and operated right here in Cobourg Ontario.  We truly love being a part of this community and are honoured to be able to share our love of dance and the arts with our students.

Twinkletoes Studio of Dance is proud to be an Acrobatic Arts certified school and follows their world renown syllabus in our weekly acro classes.
The program offers safe progressions in five areas of acro dance (flexibilty, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbleing) that allows a dancer of any age or level to be guided sucessfully into safe and technically sound skills development.  We love how this program encourages students to recognize and celebrate their achievements!
Twinkletoes also offeres Acro Pre-School which is the newst of syllubi offered by Acrobatic Arts which focuses on young dancers ages 2.5-6 years.
Why is this important?  As a parent you can breathe easier knowing that your child's teacher has completed hands on training from an organization that works with the world's leaders in this style of dance.  Your child's saftey and well being is the number one priority while they learn and grow in a progressional manor that reduces the risk of injury.
The RAD is one of the world’s most influential dance education organisations.  Founded in 1920 to set standards for dance teaching within the UK, today they have a presence in 84 countries, with 36 offices and around 14,000 members worldwide. They support their members through the knowledge, and expertise of their highly qualified staff and through conferences, workshops, training courses and summer schools for teachers and students.
Twinkletoes is proud to offer RAD programing in all of their ballet classes, taught under the direction of Ms. Stefani Kostoff.
